Edmonton Expo is a three-day Comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event that attracts tens of thousands of people at the Edmonton Expo Centre. They offer family-friendly attractions, events, and world-renowned celebrities including John Cena, Temuera Morrison (Jango and Boba Fett), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli in The Lord of the Rings), Jed Brophy (Nori in The Hobbit, and many others I don’t recognise!

What differentiated real-life sorcerers, witches, and wizards? Could you summon demons or cast Fireball? Find out what magic was like in medieval Europe and how it shaped modern fantasy.
Plague Doctor Certification Course
Sunday, Sept. 20th, at 3:30-4:00 in room 109A
So you wish to become a plague doctor? Take our course to learn medieval medicine: where to find employment, what equipment you need, which rules to ignore, and how to properly apply leeches.
I shall also be giving a swordfighting demonstration with the Society for Creative Anachronism at 12:30-1:00 and 2:30-3:00.
